Justin Pierson
Justin is a tattoo artist and owner of “Studio 27,” a tattoo studio located in Redding, California. He was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, and has a passion for outdoor activities. He loves adventuring with his wife Anica, as well as fishing, hunting, and mountain biking. In addition to tattooing, Justin is also a talented songwriter and singer. He is committed to living life to the fullest and strives to make the most of every day.
Anica Pierson
Anica is a native of Fargo, North Dakota and has a deep love for nature. She is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time outdoors, participating in activities such as hiking, biking, running, and fishing. In addition to her love of the outdoors, Anica is also a dedicated teacher who is always eager to learn new things. She is thrilled to be a part of Team BAT and is excited to see what the future holds.
Evan Pierson
Evan is a video editor and writer originally from Bozeman, Montana, now residing in Redding, California. He has a passion for music and enjoys playing piano, writing songs on guitar, snowboarding and mountain biking in his free time. Evan also loves spending time with friends and family, especially around a fireplace. Evan is looking forward to the challenges and rewards of biking across the Trans-America Bike Route with Team BAT.
Tanner McDonald
Tanner McDonald is from Denton, Texas. He graduated from a private Christian school and then went to Australia to do ministry with YWAM for two years. After returning home, he obtained a degree in Cross Cultural Ministry from the Kings University. Tanner enjoys being active and has a love for sports, climbing, cycling, and train running. He enjoys traveling and experiencing new and different cultures, with his favorite countries visited being Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and Norway.
Jordan Waugh
Jordan was born in Willmar, Minnesota, but moved to Jacksonville, Oregon when he was three months old. He moved back to Minnesota by age nine and lived there until two years ago when he moved to Redding, California. Jordan is an avid mountain biking and snowboarding enthusiast. He works at a tech company where he helps construction companies build out CMSs and LMSs to organize their standard operating procedures, as well as a CrossFit coach Recently, Jordan has been getting into woodworking and enjoys building racks for his snowboard, bike, and gear. Jordan is also a talented cook and loves nothing more than providing amazing meals to his friends and family. He has been married to his amazing wife, Aasta, for three wonderful years.
Aasta recently moved from a small town in Minnesota to Redding, California to work as a tattoo artist at “Studio 27”. She loves spending time outside with the people she loves and has been happily married to her best friend, Jordan, for over three years. Aasta grew up working on a ranch, riding horses, and competing in ranch rodeos. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, traveling, making art, and photography. She also has a background in nonprofits and international ministry and is extremely passionate about ending sex trafficking and human slavery. As a bonus fact, Aasta dreams of having her photography featured in National Geographic or Patagonia magazine.
